Welcome to GreenHAB

GreenHAB is a research project aiming at understanding the risk of Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) in Greenland waters. HABs are primarily known from temperate and warm coastal regions, but HAB-forming species have been increasingly detected in the Arctic Ocean.

This project is designed to improve our knowledge and prediction of HABs in Greenland and make this expertise available to Greenlandic society.
